Two Hours Traffic Hit The Road, Prepare To Record New Album

Bumstead Recording Artists from Charlottetown to bring new lineup into the studio with producer Darryl Neudorf to record follow up to "Territory". 

After performing new songs for sing out loud along audiences recently at CMW and the ECMAs, much beloved east coast four piece Two Hours Traffic will head out for a nine date tour with new bass player Nathan Gill. With former bass player Andrew MacDonald, taking over guitar duties from departed member Alec O'Hanley and Liam Corcoran and Derek Ellis remaining on vocals/guitar and drums respectively,

Charlottetown's finest are about to take a batch of brand new songs into the studio with producer Darryl Neudorf (Neko Case, Jim Bryson, Blue Rodeo, Lindi Ortega).  But before they hit the studio, they take the stage.

The Trews Win At The East Coast Music Awards

East Coast Music Week completed its second day of handing out awards with five more awards being handed out yesterday. The Trews took home the award for Rock Recording of the Year (presented by EMI) for their recent album, Hope & Ruin. Additional music awards will be presented today, Friday, April 13 and Saturday April 14.

As a special treat, The Trews will perform a free outdoor concert, presented by Bell Aliant, on Sunday afternoon at the Moncton City Market beginning at 1 p.m.
