Canadian Indie Rockers Poor Young Things Announce The Revolver Tour And Confirm Dates Across North America

“A great, hooky rock band with big choruses and really lush vocals. They are radio-ready.” – Scott Zeil, Milwaukee Summerfest

In spite of the sympathy inducing tone of their name, Toronto-based indie rock powerhouse Poor Young Things are anything but these days, announcing both a North American headlining tour and the October 1st release of their second single Revolver off their 2013 debut full-length album ‘The Heart. The Head. The End.’ Kicking off The Revolver Tour in Pittsburgh, PA on October 13th, the band will headline shows in 24 cities across Canada and the US, including a stop at the popular and celebrated, Halifax Pop Explosion on October 24th.

Fresh off a busy summer that included a slew of US dates on the Vans Warped Tour, multiple music festivals throughout Canada and a showcase at the Yellow Phone Music Conference in Milwaukee, Poor Young Things – singer/guitarist Matt Fratpietro, guitarists Michael Kondakow and Dave Grant, bassist Scott Burke and drummer Konrad Commisso – are thrilled to once again be hitting the road and delivering their heavy-hitting, ear-catching rock riffs to the masses.

Additionally, as a follow-up to the melodic yet unfussy single ‘Sign Of The Times’ off ‘The Heart. The Head. The End.’ the band is excited to announce the release of their second infectious track, ‘Revolver’. Couple their high-energy stage presence with the ability to captivate an audience from the first note played, and it’s no wonder Poor Young Things were recently announced as the winners of the 2013 SiriusXM Emerging Artist of the Year award. A small glimpse of their live show is all it takes to know that this is a band to watch out for.
